Extracurricular courses
The Clorofilla Nursery School opens up to the city area by offering, in the afternoon hours, workshops and classes for children in which to welcome families from the neighborhood and the Milan area who do not attend the Service. Chlorophyll also thinks of adults by organizing courses for parents.
Specifically, for children both enrolled in the Nursery School and in the territory, Chlorophyll proposes:
Danza
In our dance course with Omino Danzante, children discover the joy of movement, learn to listen to their bodies, and express emotions through dance. This activity is designed to support their growth, respect their individual pace, and nurture their creativity.
Music
This course, designed for children aged 3 to 6, is based on the Metodo D’accordo, which combines psychomotor activities with music.
Each session begins with movement and spatial–temporal activities connected to rhythm, followed by a song exploring different gestures, an activity focused on recognizing sounds, and the exploration and use of musical instruments for spontaneous self-expression.
The session ends with a moment of relaxation.
Judo
Kodokan, in partnership with Clorofilla for over 13 years, offers judo classes for children aged 3 to 8. This activity helps children grow both individually and socially, by balancing body, heart, and mind. Judo is an educational tool that teaches important values such as sincerity, harmony, determination, courage, and respect for others.
English
Each lesson in the course follows a clear program designed to develop early language skills in a natural and gradual way. Learning new English words, phrases, and sounds through songs, games, stories, and creative activities has never been so.
Theatre
The theatre course with Mamì Teatro is an educational and formative experience for children.
